The figures below should apply right through until April 2016.

Maternity Allowance is paid every 2 or 4 weeks.

Severe Disablement Allowance

Replaced by ESA - Employment Support Allowance

State Retirement Pension - (Pension Rates - This is being updated by week end of 8th September 2015

The full new State Pension will be no less than £151.25 per week. The actual amount will be set in autumn 2015



Statutory Maternity Pay

Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) is paid for up to 39 weeks. You get:

  • 90% of your average weekly earnings (before tax) for the first 6 weeks
  • £139.58 or 90% of your average weekly earnings (whichever is lower) for the next 33 weeks

Statutory Sick Pay
You can get £88.45 a week Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) for up to 28 weeks.   


Widowed Parent's Allowance
The maximum Widowed Parent’s Allowance (WPA) is £112.55 a week.



Widows Pension

This has been replaced by Bereavement Allowance
