The following is a list of Benefits you
might be receiving, which will mean that you do NOT have to make
a claim for your Winter Fuel Payment. It will happen
automatically.

If you receive any of these benefits, you will not need to make a
claim for Winter Fuel Allowance payment - PROVIDING that you
qualify for the payment. This
applies if you were getting any of these benefits during the week of
19th - 25th September 2011.
- State Pension
- Employment and Support Allowance - ESA
- Income Support - IS
- Jobseeker's Allowance - JSA
- Pension Credit
- Attendance Allowance - AA
- Bereavement Allowance
- Carer's Allowance - CA
- Disability Living Allowance - DLA
- Graduated Retirement Benefits
- Incapacity Benefit - IB
- Industrial Injuries benefits
- Sever Disablement Allowance - SDA
- War Pension
- Widow's Benefit.
There will be not problems of the Winter Fuel Allowance Payment
affecting any of these benefits - nor will you have to pay any income
tax on it - though of course you may be subject to income tax otherwise.
