"Perhaps the main thing that isn't pointed out is that
all interest on savings and investments is classed as income and added to your
individual figure 'per week' - so your "income" from pensions and annuities may
fall just below the "£159.00", BUT add to that the interest on any savings you
have, and you don't qualify. This may only be a few pounds, but if it's over,
then you don't qualify."
